My Favorite Peach Jam

Deep in the dog days of August, I create batches of this amazing peach jam. To give as gifts, to enjoy with scones as an early morning summer treat, or to freeze, so in the depths of winter, I can taste just a little bit of summer, despite the grey skies.

This week, sadly, I finished the last of my summer jam, just as tasty today as the day I made it last August. And that last taste on my tongue brought with it the inspiration to pull out the gardening magazines and seed catalogues, and start dreaming about my hands in dirt, the warm summer breezes and that next batch of fresh peach jam, just waiting to be created…
